Archaeological Reconstruction
Based on extensive archaeological evidence, these
objects and architecture have been digitally recreated to depict
a specific place in time. Hundreds of photographs are taken from
the existing site and surrounding country side and are mapped to
the final 3d rendered image. Live human models are blue screened
in period-specific clothes and added to the scene for a lifelike
result.
These reconstructions depict various excavations on
the island of Crete during the Minoan period (c.2500-1500 BCE).
(re)Creations
will be a new division of dietrich design(s) that creates tailored
archaeological reconstructions of sites and artifacts from around
the world.
